National History Academy hosts over 20 guest speakers who are nationally recognized experts in their fields. These speakers supplement the lessons learned in the site visits, Harvard Business School case studies and parliamentary debates with real-world examples. Over the course of the summer, a George Washington scholar might visit with you before a trip to Mount Vernon, you may interview a Civil Rights leader, or you could have lunch with the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities or the former Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service.
